佛州华联CASEC 2019-2020年度工作总结
佛州华联文宣部

大浪淘沙始见真金璀璨，沧海横流才显英雄本色。佛州华联CASEC第15届理事会自2019年10月就职，2020年１月即遭遇百年不遇的新冠疫情，给本届理事会带来前所未有的挑战。在颜耀阳会长的带领下，华联理事会成员，华联会员和很多的志愿者一起做了大量的工作。特别是从1月至７月，在这半年多的居家抗疫日子里，颜耀阳会长率领华联团队、团结其它华人社团及美国人士、发动广大义工创下了华联史上最大的一次募款捐赠记录！

我们华联团队和志愿者每次都冒着被病毒感染的危险，逆向走入美国医疗机构，政府部门，老人公寓等送货上门捐赠，因而得到了主流媒体报纸电视的正面肯定和专访报道！本届华联理事会以实际行动让我们华人社团走入了美国社会，树立了华人形象, 写下了特别光辉一页!

下面是佛州华联这一年来所做的主要工作：

1. 通过美国红十字会棕榈滩分会把$7300多美元飓风救济捐赠给巴哈马
捐赠活动由Palm Beach Post发布，美国主流媒体首次报道CASEC（2019年10月15日）。
＄7300 donated to the Bahamas’s hurricane relief through American Red Cross Palm Beach Chapter. The donation event was published by Palm Beach Post,representing the first time ever CASEC reported by an American mainstream media（October 15, 2019）.

2. 协助领事馆完成中国护照的续签和旅行证件申请
协助领事馆为600多名居住在佛罗里达州的华人完成了中国护照的续签和旅行证件申请，受到佛罗里达州的华人华侨的热烈欢迎（2019年11月16日）, 50多位志愿者参加。
Organized over 50 volunteers to help over 600 Chinese lived in Florida to complete the Chinese passport renewal and travel document applications, which have been warmly welcomed by the local Chinese communities in Florida (November 16, 2019).

3. 组织了新一届理事会上任仪式和感恩节宴会
来自华裔和美国社区的150多名会员和嘉宾出席了会议（11/23/2019）。
Organized the new BOD inaugurati ceremony and Thanksgiving Banquet. Attended by more than 150 members and nonmembers guests from the Chinese and American communities (11/23/2019).

4. 欢迎MP（马拉松配速跑）跑步小组加入CASEC体育俱乐部
MP跑步小组拥有100多名成员和30多名积极参与者，他们通过跑步和其他体育活动促进健康生活（11/23/2020）。
Welcomed MP Running Group to be part of CASEC athletic clubs. MP Running Group has more than 100 members and more than 30 active participants that promote healthy living through running and other athletic activities (11/23/2020).

5. 在Boca Raton市米兹纳公园露天剧场成功举办了2020年春节庆典及游园活动（1/18/2020）

• 3,000多名社区成员，家人和朋友参加。
• 制作了两部分节目表演，包括我们的下午演出部分和我们晚上演出。
• 著名艺术家和社区表演者共演出了30多个节目。
• 活动期间有100多名志愿者工作，确保顺利进行节目编排和执行。
• 受到了广泛关注，在Boca Voice报刊的首页上进行了报道，并被推荐为社区“周末活动”；多家媒体，包括《人民日报》国际版对此次活动进行了报道。

Produced 2020 Spring Festival celebration, co-sponsored by municipal government of Boca Raton at Mizner Park Amphitheater (1/18/2020)

• Well attended by more than 3,000 society members, families and friends.
• Produced two segment shows including our afternoon section and our evening session.
• A total of 30+ performances presentedby renowned artist and community performers.
• More than 100 volunteers worked duringthe show to ensure smooth programing and execution.
• Attracted attention of and was reported on the front page of Boca Voice and recommended as the Activity of the Weekend.
• Many other Chinese community-based media including People’s Daily International Edition also reported this event.

6. 发起并组织了CASEC历史上最大的筹款活动，为国内外医院购买医疗用品，共同抗击COVID-19（01/24/2020 - 07/01/2020）

• 筹款时间为1月23日至4月30日。
• 与当地的中国非营利组织和协会共同发起筹款活动。
• 为进行国际救援，从191个个人和实体筹集了40,000多美元。向武汉医院和医疗机构分四批发货。
• 为开展家庭救灾工作，从136个个人和实体筹集了50,000多美元和个人防护装备用品。
• 向Palm Beach，Broward和Miami-Dade县的医院进行40多次小规模捐赠。
• 向Telnet Medical Group捐赠了21,600件大型个人防护设备。棕榈滩邮报的封面故事和WPTV 5对我们进行了采访和报道。（4/16/2020）
• 向西棕榈滩的退伍军人医院第二次捐赠10,000件大型个人防护装备。（05/07/2020）
• 大约五十名志愿者参与了筹款和捐赠的各个阶段。我们依靠佛罗里达州的志愿者向医疗中心捐款，并依靠中国的志愿者进行物资采购。
• 通过GoFundMe开发了新的筹款渠道。

Launched and organized the largest fundraisers in CASEC history to purchase medical supplies for both domestic and international hospitals for COVID-19 relief (01/24/2020-07/01/2020)

• Fundraising time spanned from January 23 to April 30.
• Co-sponsored both fundraisers with local Chinese non-profit organizations and associations.
• For international relief efforts,raised more than $40,000 from 191 individuals and entities. Delivered four different batches to Wuhan hospitals and medical institutes.
• For domestic relief efforts, raised more than $50,000 and PPE supplies from 136 individuals and entities.
• More than 40 small scale donation efforts to hospitals in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
• A large scale 21,600 pieces PPE donation to Telnet Medical Group. Cover-page story of Palm Beach Post and interview by WPTV 5 （4/16/2020）.
• The 2nd large scale 10,000 pieces PPE donation to Veterans Hospital located in West Palm Beach （05/07/2020）.
• Involved fifty or so volunteers invarious stages of the fundraising and donation. We relied on volunteers in S.Florida for donation to medical centers and volunteers in China for supplysourcing.
• Developed new fundraising channel through GoFundMe.
• Received CASEC’s first large donation from American community of $3,000 （May 2020）.

7. 为华人华侨，CASEC成员和家人储备抗疫（COVID-19）个人防护用品

• 通过多方渠道，两次紧急采购紧急物资（需求且在公开市场上无法买到的PPE用品），以确保老年人，成员和家庭的安全。优先考虑老年成员，主要分发给马丁、棕榈滩和迈阿密戴德县的成员；采购有预防功能的中成药，免费分发给有需要的会员。
• 对有需要的个人和企业进行了多次亲自访问， 并捐赠口罩。
• 为近百位南佛州的中下学生分发“爱心健康包”。

Assist with CASEC members and families to secure some PPE supplies against COVID-19

• Conducted multiple in-person visits to individuals and businesses in need.
• Sourced PPE supplies that were incritical demand and unavailable in the open market to provide them to seniors,members and families for their safety.
• Distributed to members across Martin,Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties.
• Provided priority to senior members.
• Assisted to distribute about 100 “Healthy Package” to students in South Florida.

8. 华联教育部举办青少年和成人演讲活动（ 11/10/2019）
10个青少年，共20人参加演讲，50多人参加。
Organized youth speech seminar (50 attendees).

9. 举办教育投资和行为金融研讨会
大约有50位与会者参与了主题讨论，包括利率、通货膨胀、创收和行为金融。演讲嘉宾是迈阿密·赫伯特商学院的副院长。活动后，通过两位发言人的链接发帖向大约5,000名人员进行了宣传（12/15/2019）。
Organized educational investment and behavioral finance seminar. There were about 50 participants listed to discussion topics include interest rate, inflation,income generation and behavioral finance. Guest speaker was Vice Dean from Miami Herbert. business school. Post-event outreach to approximately 5,000 professionals through the two speakers Linked-in postings.

10. 举办了两次关于飓风的网上科学研讨会
分别于5/30日和06/06/2020通过ZOOM举办了两次讨论会，飓风专家陈德江，吴立波，张雪金和李月朋为主讲人，总共有近百人参加。
Organized two science seminars about hurricane (05/30/2020 and 06/06/2020), and about 100 attendees.

11. 规范财务管理和会计程序

• 发布了2019年9月至2020年9月期间的GAAP标准财务报表。
• 当涉及捐赠资金时，开始分工。例如，聘请了独立的记录保存人和审核人。
• 定义并执行审核过程，包括对两次COVID-19筹款活动的内部或外部审核。
• 通过向会员提供有关筹款工作的实时透明度和沟通来提高透明度。

Formalized financial management and accounting process

• Issued formal GAAP standard financial statements for the period between September 2019 to September 2020.
• Initiated separation of duties when donation funds were involved. For example, engaged separate record keepers and reviewers.
• Defined and executed auditing process including either internal or external audits for the two COVID-19 fundraising efforts.
• Increased transparency by providingreal time transparency and communication about fundraising efforts to members.

12. 创建并维护CASEC 的Facebook网页

• 通过广泛社交媒体营销活动，CASEC 的Facebook帐户在很短的时间内受到了广泛关注，目前拥有3,000多位好友。
• 制作并发布有关我们的艺术，体育和社区活动的CASEC活动视频。
• 拓宽新的沟通渠道，有效地将CASEC的活动及信息传播给美国当地社区。

Created and maintained CASEC’s Facebook profile

• Through social media marketing efforts,CASEC Facebook account now has more than 3,000 plus friends and followers in avery short period.
• Produced and posted CASEC activitiesvideos on our arts, sports and community efforts.
• This is a new communication channel,especially effective to broadcast any CASEC efforts to the American local communities.

13.与多个本地美国社团建立了联系，以与CASEC建立社区伙伴关系，以便将来共同组织活动

• 与美国红十字会建立了合作渠道。
• 邀请FAU中国学生学者联合会参加和赞助我们举办的春节庆祝活动， 并提供志愿者支持。
• 与棕榈滩县犹太人联合会开始对话，以寻求未来的合作和共同赞助机会。
• 与棕榈滩县的中美友好协会建立了联系，他们也为支持抗疫捐了款。
• 加强与MDC亚裔顾问委员会合作，一起组织为迈阿密戴德县的老年居民捐赠口罩。

Aspart of the outreach program, developed multiple new entity relationships

• Opened a channel of discussion with American Red Cross for community partnership with CASEC to co-organize eventsin the future.
• Received both sponsorship and volunteer support from FAU Chinese Student Association for the Spring Festival celebration.
• Started a dialogue with Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County for future cooperation and co-sponsorship opportunities.
• Connected with US-China Friendship of Palm Beach County.
• Worked with MDC Asian American Advisory Board for Miami-Dade County senior housing donation.

14. 华联赞助和支持了多项体育活动

• 赞助在德尔雷海滩举行的女子网球比赛，该项比赛有30多名网球运动员和教练参与。
• 赞助AF（CASEC CTC）网球比赛，约40名男女运动员参加。
• 赞助儿童和成人乒乓球训练，约30名少年运动员和20名成人参加了训练 （12/7/2019）。
• 赞助在德拉海滩举行的莫妮卡杯女子网球比赛，约30多名网球运动员和教练参与。
• 举办华联“友谊杯”南北排球比赛，50多人参加。
• 赞助普林斯顿资产管理公司的首届CASEC全女沙排排比赛。八支不同的女排参赛。
• 在COVID-19期间赞助了MP Running Group运行程序。在大流行期间，大约有20多人参与了跑步和其它锻炼。

Athletic Sponsorships

• Sponsored women’s tennis tournament at Delray Beach with around 30+ tennis players andmale tennis players to coach.
• Sponsored AF (CASEC CTC) tennis tournament participated by around 40 male and femaleathletes.
• Sponsored children’s and Adults table tennis trainings, and around 30 juvenile athletesand 20 adults attended the trainings.
• Sponsored Monica Cup women’s tennis tournament at Delray Beach with around 30+ tennis players and male tennis players to coach.
• Sponsored north and south volleyball tournament participated by 50 players.
• Sponsored Princeton Asset Management’s first CASEC all female volleyball tournament.Eight different female volleyball teams participated to compete.
• Sponsored MP Running Group running program during COVID-19. There are about 20 plus participate kept up with running and exercising during the pandemic.

15. 华联教育部组织的其它活动

• 举办“Improving Relationships Through Emotional Intelligence“。特邀演讲嘉宾 Dr. Anhlan Nguyen (12/1/2019)。
• 组织“30 天情商跨年挑战” （12/10/2019-01/08/2020）打卡活动。
• 组织“新春情商挑战之-压力管理（1/28-2/28）”打卡活动。

16. 佛州华联于９月２６日成功举办了网络“庆中秋暨表彰晚会”
来自中国的艺术家和佛州本地的文艺爱好者共同录制了很多精彩纷呈的节目。晚会表彰和感谢了为抗疫慷慨捐赠的爱心人士、企业家和社团、表彰和感谢了冒着受感染病毒的风险逆向行驶的志愿者和义工，和一年以来为华联的发展和壮大作出突出贡献的理事成员和志愿者。著名指画艺术家曾京兰女士为晚会捐赠了价值数万人民币的指画“秋趣”，棕榈滩中华艺术团和陈明伟先生各自捐赠了一个50英寸的大电视，纽约人寿宋曼萍会计师捐赠4个$50红包，樊菲女士捐赠了男女科技内衣、金廷饭店捐赠了就餐优惠券等等抽奖礼品。
