用童心与巧思传递谢意

2025年11月15日下午，棕榈滩郡海根阮池图书馆举办了一场充满温情的节日卡片制作活动。本次活动由佛州华人华侨联合会学生读书会发起人夏泓鑫组织。十几名学生与家长齐聚一堂，用灵巧的双手为守护社区的当地警察与消防人员精心制作了一张张独一无二的节日贺卡。
活动现场洋溢着浓浓的热情与活力，从幼儿园、小学、初中到高中，各年龄段的学生都积极参与，家长们也加入其中，共同营造出温馨而愉悦的创作氛围。
夏泓鑫表示，希望孩子们通过亲手制作卡片的过程，体会感恩的意义，并学会向社区服务者表达尊敬与关怀，以此向那些在日常工作中不畏艰险、默默奉献的警察和消防员表达最诚挚的感谢。
创意无限，心意满满：
- 有的孩子在卡片上贴满五彩缤纷的糖果，让“甜甜的心意”跃然纸上。
- 有的孩子用绘画、剪纸等方式装点卡片，每一笔、每一剪都饱含童真与感激。
一张张承载着稚嫩心意的贺卡，不仅表达了孩子们对警察和消防人员的敬意，也使他们在参与中学会了感恩，感受了社区之间的温暖与连结。
Sharing Gratitude Through Creativity
In the afternoon of November 15, 2025, a heartwarming holiday card–making event was held at the Hagen Ranch Road Library in Palm Beach County. Organized by Sofia Olson, the founder of the CASEC Student Academic Club, the event brought together more than a dozen students and parents. With nimble hands and bright imaginations, the children created unique holiday cards dedicated to the police officers and firefighters who protect the local community.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and energy. Students from kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school all took part, and many parents joined in the activity, contributing to a warm and joyful creative environment.
According to Sofia Olson, this was the 4th years she organized these events. the goal was to help students understand the meaning of gratitude through the hands-on process of making cards, and to encourage them to show respect and appreciation to community service workers. The cards expressed heartfelt thanks to the police officers and firefighters who face challenges daily and serve quietly with dedication.
The children’s creativity shone brightly:
- Some decorated their cards with colorful candies, adding a “sweet touch” to their messages of thanks.
- Others used drawings, paper cutting, and handcrafted details—each stroke and each shape filled with innocence and gratitude.
These heartfelt cards not only conveyed deep respect for police officers and firefighters, but also helped the children learn the value of gratitude and experience the warmth and connection within their community.
